Public Notice Regarding Proposed works to church building
In the Consistory Court of the Diocese of Leeds
In the parish of All Saints Netherthong
Church of Netherthong: All Saints
NOTICE IS GIVEN that we are applying to the Consistory Court of the diocese for permission to carry out the following:
Reordering of the nave and chancel, comprising removal of all remaining nave pews (apart from two to be relocated and retained in the chancel), introduction of new wooden chairs in walnut colour, replacement of the fixed dais with demountable staging, forming an access ramp to the chancel, and relocation of the font to the south-west corner of the nave.
Also replacement or refurbishment of all rainwater downpipes in cast iron, with a new underground drainage system discharging to the public sewer.
In accordance with PPIY Architects drawings nos. 3519/201 rev. E, 3519/202 rev. A and 3519/204; Alpha Chair Furnishing catalogue image and colour swatch; and Unistage Ltd catalogue image.
Copies of the relevant plans and documents may be examined at
All Saints Church, Netherthong
(If changes to a church are proposed, a copy of the petition and of any designs, plans, photographs and other documents that were submitted with it must be displayed in the church or at another place where they may be conveniently inspected by the public and if the petition is submitted through an online system, those documents must also be publicly available for inspection online.)

Netherthong Community Partnership is now a registered charity and are actively working towards the goal of developing the church building for full community use. We have appointed an Architect who will soon begin work on drawing up plans with the help of the whole community
